Meet Victoria!
Hi, I’m Victoria - wife, mama of two, follower of Christ, and the heart behind 29:11 Doula Services.
My passion for birth work was born from my own experiences of motherhood. I am both a cesarean and VBAC mama, and I have personally walked through the unexpected turns that birth can bring. My first pregnancy ended with a premature cesarean after developing preeclampsia and HELLP syndrome, and while that season was incredibly difficult, God used it to deepen my compassion for women who find themselves navigating unexpected birth journeys.
When I became pregnant with my second baby, I experienced the beauty of a supported, physiological birth. The encouragement and presence of my own doula helped me rediscover confidence in my body and showed me the profound impact that compassionate birth support can have. That experience sparked a calling in my heart to serve other women in the same way.
I believe birth is a beautiful design created by God; a powerful, physiological process that deserves patience, respect, and support. My heart is to help women feel informed, confident, and deeply cared for while honoring that every birth story is unique and every family’s journey looks different.
Before stepping into birth work, I spent 10 years as a veterinary technician, where I developed a deep love for caring for others, advocating for those who cannot speak for themselves, and remaining calm in high-pressure situations. Those skills have carried beautifully into my role as a doula.
Outside of birth work, you’ll usually find me sewing, baking, learning more about birth (because there is always more to learn!), or soaking up time with my husband and our two children.
It would be an honor to walk alongside you as you welcome your baby into the world - offering faith-filled encouragement, compassionate support, and a steady presence through one of life’s most sacred transitions
What Is A Doula?
The word doula comes from the Greek word meaning “a woman who serves.” A doula is a trained professional who provides continuous emotional, physical, and informational support throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum season.
Birth is one of the most transformative experiences of your life, and you were never meant to walk it alone. My role is to walk beside you—helping you prepare, understand your options, navigate the unexpected, and feel confident in the decisions that are right for your family.
I do not replace your doctor or midwife, but I become a consistent source of support throughout your journey. I offer comfort measures during labor, encourage your partner, help you advocate for your wishes, and provide a calm, familiar presence when you need it most.
Research shows that continuous doula support is associated with fewer interventions, lower cesarean rates, shorter labors, and greater satisfaction with the birth experience. While a doula cannot promise a specific outcome, having support can help you approach birth feeling informed, empowered, and cared for.
Whether you are planning a hospital birth, birth center birth, home birth, VBAC, or cesarean birth, my heart is the same: to serve you with compassion, evidence-based support, and faith-filled encouragement through one of life’s most sacred transitions.

My Birth Philosophy
I believe birth is, first and foremost, a physiological process—not a medical emergency waiting to happen.
Our bodies were intricately designed for pregnancy, labor, birth, and breastfeeding. In the right environment, with patience, support, and respect for the natural process, birth often unfolds beautifully on its own.
That doesn't mean birth is predictable or that medical care isn't important. Sometimes complications arise, and when they do, modern medicine can be life-saving. I'm deeply grateful for those moments when skilled medical intervention protects the health of a mother or baby.
But I also believe there is a meaningful difference between interventions that are medically necessary and those that become routine simply because they're common.
My role as your doula is to help protect the physiology of birth whenever possible while helping you understand your options if circumstances change. I'll provide evidence-based education, encourage informed decision-making, and support you without judgment—whether your birth follows your original plan or takes an unexpected turn.
Every family deserves to feel informed, respected, and genuinely supported.
Because birth isn't something I believe needs to be controlled.
More often than not, it needs to be understood, trusted, and protected.
